Day 106/365

Today was easily my favorite assignment that I've gotten to shoot so far during my internship. Apparently Saginaw has a renowned fireworks show each year on the Fourth of July, and today one of the journalist interns and I went out to cover the group setting up the fireworks for Wednesday's show. I'd never seen actual official fireworks like that before, and I even held one! It was the same size and weight of a bowling ball, and was completely spherical - not at all what the cartoons I grew up with had me expecting. If you'd like to see the other photos I took, or would like to read the article they went with, you can find them here.
